Abstract

In 1929, Dr Georg Moenius, a Catholic priest, became editor of a journal, the "Allgemeine Rundschau". Under his leadership, the journal launched a fearless critique on the rise of the German right wing extremist groups. This work examines an important chapter in the Roman Catholic opposition to the rise of the Nazi Party between 1929 and 1933.
