Abstract | Bibliotherapy as an approach to eliciting and understanding the affective responses of primary school teachers is investigated in this paper. In this pilot study, the author explores bibliotherapy as a reflective tool in teacher professional learning, by analysing affective responses of primary teachers. Year 6 teachers voluntarily wrote responses to readings about school students’ learning, discussed their understanding of their own experiences in the light of the readings and gained some insights into the factors which impacted on them as learners and teachers of mathematics. |
