Abstract

[Extract] The focus of this chapter is the accommodation needs of people with a disability who have high health and support needs and the role community nurses play in service provision and policy development in response to these needs. The purpose of the chapter is also to address two key issues that impact housing options for young people with high health and support needs: political and policy directions; and this population's and their families' rights and needs.
