Abstract | The aim of this research is to investigate and identify effective practice in nurturing the faith commitment of young Catholics. This study explores the different approaches to religious practice by young Catholics and the powerful work of Catholic schools. This project is ongoing and currently in its final stage of data collection. This data collection is comprised of three stages: Stage 1: In-depth interviews at 17 secondary schools (Victorian dioceses) with Religious Education Teachers and Coordinators; 2009-2010 Administered to Victorian dioceses In-depth Interview transcripts Format: Transcripts in electronic format Stage 2: Online qualitative survey of Australian young Catholics; 2010-2011 Online survey administered through Qualtrics |
