Abstract

[Extract] This Open Forum presents an argument that consumers' perspectives should hold significant weight in evaluating case management practices and outcomes. In doing so, it does not imply that previous evaluations of mental health case management are without value, nor does it denigrate the importance of medical or rehabilitation-focused outcomes. Rather, our contention is that consumers' voices should be heard equally alongside clinicians' and researchers' ( 2 ).
