Abstract

[Extract] This book came about as a result of The Australian Government Summer School for Teachers program that was announced as part of the 2007-08 Budget Package: Realising Our Potential. The Australian Government Summer School for Teachers cif English was contracted to a consortium comprising Deakin University; Murdoch University and the Australian Association for the Teaching of English (AATE), and was held for two weeks in January 2008 in Geelong opposite the seashore, with perfect weather and the great company of people from around Australia who share a passion for English teaching.
