Abstract

[Extract] The People’s Duty develops two philosophical frameworks centered on the sovereign people in a liberal democracy as a collective agent. First, a collective integrity framework, conceiving of a liberal-democratic people as an agent with its own morally important integrity. Second, a collective property framework, revolving around a particular model of public property owned by the people.
