Abstract

In this chapter we will:
• develop an understanding of inquiry learning and teaching in primary
science education
• develop knowledge of science practices relevant to primary science
education, and develop an understanding of their application in
inquiry investigations or inquiry instructional models
• consider the role of inquiry across primary science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics (STEM) education.
