Abstract

[Extract] This chapter aims to introduce nurses to the basic concepts of mental health nursing, some of the theoretical frameworks that underpin mental health care and to raise awareness of some legal and ethical issues that confront MHNs. The texts and online resources listed at the end of this chapter provide more detailed information.
