Abstract

This article considers a range of possible education strategies that could be adopted to assist businesses in better understanding their rights and obligations under competition law. It begins by briefly examining the importance of competition education and compliance before reviewing different approaches to competition education, with a focus on the work being done within a selection of member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ('ASEAN'). The article also discusses the approach to competition education of some non-ASEAN countries and in particular, considers the online competition education strategies adopted by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission
