Abstract
[Extract] Organisations have incentives for maximising profits and shareholders’ values by acting opportunistically. Why would an organisation act in socially responsible ways using sustainable HRM to improve sustainable o utcomes for stakeholders such as employees, their family, society’s sustainable environmental management expectations and the supply chain? These are important economic/financial, natural environmental and human/social issues that ustainable s HRM aims to address so as to achieve corporate sustainability.
