Abstract
Teleconferencing is emerging as a potentially emancipative learning technology in higher education. This poster explores the learning journey of one class of teacher education students as they build, prepare and perform a play for primary school pupils across a collaborative space mediated by videoconference facilities. Emphasis will be on the academic and student perspectives of their journey with a consideration of the affordances of this type of technology-mediated activity in drama education.
