Abstract
An essay is presented on the canon of the Catholic Scripture. It explores the features of the Catholic practice in relation to the translation and exegesis of the canon and the reading of Scripture. It describes the version of the Scripture that was approved for public reading by an episcopal synod. The author also discusses the complexity of the Catholic Church's doxology.
