Abstract
A major component of the restructuring activity taking place in most Australian states is the exploitation of technology to improve school administration and to enrich the curriculum. The purpose of this chapter is to look at the part computer technology is likely to play in the restructured school’s curriculum, and to discuss some of the issues involved to help principals, teachers, parents and students of education better to understand what the technology is offering and likely to offer in the future.
