Abstract
The concept of the Catholic school as a 'faith community' is contested with the faith leadership role of the rural primary Catholic principal being directed by expectations detailed in Church documents, diocesan policy and role descriptions. This paper the second in a two part series, reports on the faith leadership perceptions of ten principals from one Queensland rural diocese. The findings presented in this paper suggest that the principals in this study have a clear understanding that their faith leadership role has both religious and spiritual dimensions.
