Abstract
[Extract] In this chapter, we unpack four vignettes that tell the stories of four teacher educators and their use of humour to support the science learning of their pre-service teachers. While each context is different, humour is the common learning condition that ensures the learners are at ease leading to meaningful engagement and deeper understandings of science.
