Abstract
[Extract] This chapter introduces the concept of clinical audit as a tool that is increasingly being used in clinical environments under the aegis of EBP and quality improvement. The reader is provided with an overview of clinical audit as a way to develop knowledge and enhance clinical practice, including exploration of the usefulness of audit and of how to actually conduct one.
