Abstract
[Extract] This concluding chapter falls into two sections. In the first, we review a number of key issues which are matters of debate in contemporary media education practice, looking especially at research evidence for different claims and counter-claims. In the second, we shift the focus to the future, asking what the implications of new media might be for media educators, and examining some of the predictions currently being made.
