Abstract
[Extract] Play-based intervention during the toddler and preschool years offers many opportunities for therapists to engage children in meaningful and therapeutic interactions. Exploiting this stage when children’s play repertoires are rapidly expanding provides the vehicle for implementing motivating therapy and optimizing the learning environment.
