Abstract | [Extract] In 2020, when faced with sustaining the Tudor Choristers remotely during Melbourne’s COVID- 19 lockdowns (Smoleniec, 2020), I was surprised by some unexpected benefits. In particular, an inadvertent “experiment” with the Tudor Choristers led to a hypothesis that non-synchronous voice audits could offer an effective alternative to in-person audits, with further implications for use in post-pandemic Music pedagogy. I embarked on a research project to explore this idea in more depth, exploring the choir members’ perspectives. |
