Abstract

Learning theology from an Indigenous Australian woman’s perspective, the reader needs to set aside all their preconceived knowledge about spiritual and theological concepts. The Indigenous perspective comes from a (w)holistic approach, the oneness of the spiritual and physical, in the same place and at the same time. The sharing of this spiritual understanding of God’s wisdom for this land and its people can only be interpreted by the original inhabitants. These interpretations enhance the divine promise of Christ’s return as a transformation of a new reality, where all of creation exists in harmony and peace.
