Abstract

[Extract] It is now ten years since the Australian Association for the Teaching of English introduced a new range in its publications portfolio to support its flagship journal, English in Australia. During this decade, AATE's Interface Series has developed a rich tradition of engaging with current English Education practices, research and issues on behalf of its membership and the profession more broadly. Its role has been both deliberate and strategic: to provide a range of books for teachers who are committed to researching their own teaching, teachers who work at the 'interface' of theory and practice.
