Abstract

"Waterford abounds in schools; it has one however, which is somewhat peculiar – and an inspection of which gave us much pleasure. It is named the School of the Christian Brothers, and was founded in 1803 by Mr. Edmund Rice. The benefits he has conferred upon his native city is therefore incalculable."
