Abstract | Robert Doran has posited the possibility of developing a genetic sequence of systematic theologies that traces out lines of genuine theological progress. The present paper seeks to illustrate such a genetic sequence by tracing the lines of thought of Augustine, Aquinas, and Lonergan on the question of the relationship of the individual persons of the Trinity to the created order. |
